Organising workshops
- All workshops last 3 hours (9am–12pm or 2pm–5pm) and consist of a mix of hands-on activities followed by discussions (covering the experience, key concepts and ideas, as well as an introduction and adaptation to different contexts).
- Each workshop is held separately, or they are all grouped together over a weekend, in which case they form a ‘PETIT PASSE’.
The content of the workshops is prepared in advance
and adjusted according to circumstances and priorities
- PLAY AWAY: an introduction to the principles, practices and procedures of Play Away projects. The underlying themes addressed concern people in difficulty, who are traumatised or isolated.
- RELATIONAL CREATIVITY and PLAY: in child development, the restoration of creative LIFE and relational plasticity in adult life, particularly among older people.
- DEVELOPMENTAL TRAUMA: attachment, abuse, brain development and maturation into adulthood.
- RELATIONAL, NEURONAL and SYMBOLIC PLASTICITY
- CREATIVE AND BODY-BASED APPROACHES: for a variety of contexts, tailored to the needs and constraints of carers, healthcare workers, assistants, after-school staff and nurses.
- A PERSONAL, CREATIVE AND BODY-BASED PROCESS: for people in vulnerable situations / on the ‘margins’ / who have ‘lost’ confidence, hope... (linked to the DROP-IN projects and creative groups).
- The QUALITIES of CAIRE during a Creative Relationship for professionals or volunteers.
- THE THREE ELEMENTS OF PLAY (diagrams, drawings, gestures...) addressing the importance of PLAY in and for openness to life.
- NATURAL CREATIVE MEDIUMS to encourage calm, the development of the imagination, and enrichment through and in connection with nature.
- SQUIGGLING ALONG: a practice for engaging creatively, developing the ability to play, symbolise and establish a pleasant intersubjectivity.
