Play and Creativity Therapy
Play and Creativity Therapy (PCT) is an individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults. Its philosophy is rooted in Verity J Gavin’s Creative Ethics. It is practised in a studio-practice.
The ‘creative relational’ process (TJC) ensures the choice between verbal and non-verbal expression, the development of the courage to be oneself, and the patient’s creative potential.
The conceptual framework and the framework of practice (including collaboration with parents and professionals) are carefully explained during the ACCREDITATION course through Verity’s creative pedagogy.

Philosophy, creative practice and process
In 2019, the training in Play and Creativity Therapy evolved into a programme based on mentoring and supervision.
This programme, known as ‘ACCREDITATION’, guarantees experiential and face-to-face learning, two characteristics that form the foundation of the transmission of Play and Creativity Therapy through Creative Pedagogy.
The programme remains open to psychotherapists, mental health practitioners, clinical psychologists and child psychiatrists.
The ACCREDITATION programme spans two years and includes one monthly tutoring session and one monthly supervision session over 10 months each year.

“Hold me!” “Reassure me!” “Believe in me!”
“Give me hope!”
“Don’t judge me!”
“Don’t ask me direct questions!”
“Don’t ask me anything, don’t tell me what to do!”
“Be warm!”
“Respect me, the whole of who I am, including the hidden and dark side – my intense emotions, my harsh behaviour – the jumbled mix and the lies I’ve learnt!”
“Respect my pace!”
