The Relationship Game
Creative Practices
The PRACTICAL SKETCHBOOK OF THE RELATIONSHIP GAME introduces the key points and suggested practices for the Relationship Game approach.
These practices are very varied given the diversity of the professions involved, the objectives of their professional roles and their specific contexts.
Once your choice becomes clearer, it is essential to explore these practices for yourself. This is one of the reasons why this preparation should begin with another person (a work colleague or friend with whom you can practise).
The ideas underpinning these practices are found in Verity J Gavin’s Creative Ethics. These ideas and various applications can be found in the ‘CREATIVE CARE’ Sketchbook, which should be read before or after this text.
The Sketchbook of SIMPLE CREATIVE PRACTICES introduces a number of very simple practices. It is aimed primarily at professionals who do not have a space ‘of their own’ or who have to travel for various types of work.
This notebook comprises 3 parts: Practices for two – practices for several people – 20 Creative Proposals from the Relationship Game (also available as separate files)
The first part of this notebook introduces a wide range of exercises for Practices for Two:
- the first section, the "FUN FILES", offers a whole array of diverse options
- the second section presents a series of very brief exercises
- the following sections present physical exercises and all kinds of “creative mediums”
